Freshman wondering about Rx
Current freshman here and Rx sounds like an interesting role for right out of undergrad. With recruiting timelines pushed back to where they are, and considering the depth of Rx technicals, what time is good to start diving into studying Rx? What are the best materials to start with?
The best time to start was last year, the second best time to start is right now.
This guys a freshman, you want him to prep in Hs?
Start in kindergarten if possible.
Ngl ik of hardos that were doing DCF in the senior year of hs to get a jump on everyone
I would at least get started right now by reading something like Moyer to figure out if Rx is something you really want to do. If it is, then spend the summer going into it given how recruiting timelines are continually moving up
I would use this more as a time to explore what you want to do - reading Moyer is a fine place to start but would probably be a little overwhelming at this point. I’d start by looking up HL’s “Buying and Selling the Troubled Company” case study. It’s a relatively easy intro and gives a great idea of what RX is all about.
In terms of prep, I started over winter break before recruiting and felt more than prepared by interview time in February.
