Anyone familiar with GMP's Energy ER division? Pay, culture, hours, reputation, etc.?
The energy group in houston is very new, only a few months old so not sure if they're good, but I think comp is okay - maybe ~70K base + bonus

They are a Canadian bank & have some US operations in NYC. Apparently they are hiring on the FICC side.
They used to be one of the top Canadian banks, particularly on the agency trading side, however after their top sales-trader left ('the Wek') things have really slowed down there.
Disheartening to hear. I was sorta interested in one of their desks that are currently hiring.
That doesn't mean you should stay away...
