Goldman Sachs Pre Offer Stage

Hi!ion

So I recently got an email from GS HR asking for my previous year payslips and expected compensation. I will be graduating in May so obviously I wrote that I don't have prior experience and quoted the standard salary they pay to my college hires. My question is whether this is a good sign and are they seriously considering to make me an offer? What things should I take worry about at this pre offer stage so that my chances aren't reduced? Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks!
