Goldman Sachs SLC - apply FT or SA?
Backstory: I'm a non-target student with a 3.5 GPA from a small liberal arts college. I understand that my GPA and school mostly disqualify me from NYC IBD - I'm still going to try, but my expectations are pretty low. With that being said, I'd like some advice/insight about the Salt Lake City Goldman Sachs program.
I've heard that the SLC IBD program has a lot of FT hires with no prior banking experience, and that their intern class is pretty small (20~). I currently have the option of either graduating in December 2020 with a double major or graduating in May 2020 with only one major. Can someone who's worked through SLC GS share any insight on whether it's better to graudate in December and apply for SA 2020 or graduate in May and apply for FT 2020?
Beyond that, if anyone has any advice either generally for my situation or specifically about GS SLC and other "less prestigious" IBD programs/locations that are more within my reach, please let me know! Thanks in advance.
Hey s.kang12, sorry about the delay, but are any of these useful:
Hope that helps.
