For those who are on their way to interning, congratulations! You will pick up on many new skills, meet amazing people and have a great time with your team at the office!
To those who didn't get in, hear me out. DO NOT give up. If you are hard working, determined and work SMART (this is key) you WILL land a position. Go on LinkedIn and reach out to anyone! Just ask for advice, don't even hint at wanting a handout. When someone sees how determined you are to learn, they WILL stick their necks out for you! They're millions of ways into selling-side and purchasing-side. Remember, it only takes one yes to get in.

Where have you been? most classes are filled already.

Stop spreading misinformation. I've spoken to people at nearly every firm and recruiting has barely begun for 2018 SA. most firms have finished up diversity process and are beginning or in the middle of the accelerated process.
Goldman is the only one with a super-early accelerated process, and everyone else is basically reacting to that. Ex. JPM is only giving accelerated interviews to people with Goldman offers
