Does anyone have any information on GHL Houston? Seems to be a pretty small office based on my LinkedIn searches. Do they have a generalist Rx/M&A model? Deal flow in terms of Rx/M&A? Any insights would be appreciated - thanks!

It’s extremely small and I haven’t heard of much significant dealflow. iirc a group of their MDs got poached by MS a few years ago. In the current environment for oil and gas, I would worry about the office shutting down. Just my 2c.

Yeah lol, that’s life. The people all seem good — it’s nothing against the group. Just trying to give a picture of the Houston landscape and where GHL fits into it right now.
Knew one guy who worked there who said people were quitting / getting fired left and right (senior / junior). That was early last year before stuff hit the fan. He moved to another bank little more stable
