GSAM Private Credit Analyst

The threads on this are a little dated. Does anyone happen to know anything about this group? I believe it is a buy side role but I don't have any insight into pay structure, exit opps, and work life balance. Appreciate any commentary here!

GSAM Private Credit is pretty good from what I recall - it is a buyside role where you are pretty much underwriting the debt for LBOs (non-syndicated). Pay structure similar to PE (maybe slightly lower) with slightly better hours; exit opps are largely to other credit-related roles. Really good spot, and most private credit teams have a noticeably better work-life balance (not sure about GSAM though)

Can anyone please share what does this mean

model, in excel, a portfolio of amortizing loans and calculate key profitability metrics? What can one expect in this modelling interview?
