Sooo a kid from my school got a "job" with this scam of a place. He wants to live with me and my other friend from school when we move to nyc this summer. How much of a scam do you guys think this place is? It worries me because I don't want to sign a lease with him if he doesn't have a legit job. Btw the first red flag popped up when he told me he didn't even have a resume and they still offered him a job.

Haha yeah, someone I know got the same email. Total scam, I took one look at it and laughed.
How do i go about telling this kid? I don't want to be a dick, but I mean come on.....
You should just tell him outright that you think it's a scam and you're worried that he won't be getting paid this summer. Spin it off as being concerned for him, not you.
I actually got an interview with Guerreiro through my career center until they informed me that they were "illegitimate" and that they removed them from the site.

I interviewed with this firm back in November. Total joke. The guy sitting in the chair said that "...you couldn't make this kind of money unless your rolled up with a U-Haul full of bricks from Colombia."
He then proceeded to look at me and say "I am going to be a billionaire and that is a fact. If you stick with me you will be a millionaire. Goldman offered me 8 million dollars for my training program and I turned them down."
Despite already being a millionaire, he still wouldn't pay for my Series 7, which he wanted me to start while I was still in school. In fact, my acceptance letter came in the form of a paypal request for the Series 7. Biggest bunch of guidos I've ever met in my life.
