I’ve heard horrible things about PWP Tech SF (one alumni doesn’t take phone calls because they don’t want to subject others to the misery). Have confirmed with other analysts that it’s a complete sweatshop with subpar deal flow and rough culture - take Gugg NYC

Same here, heard that it's a sweatshop and that culture is bad and that their analysts get destroyed / have a miserable time

I've heard Gugg TMT is a top group, no? I've heard they have excellent deal flow, pretty good culture, and they were ranked number 2 by vault for compensation. Would even take it over PWP NYC.

At the Associate level, my friend in Guggenheim got same signing and bigger stub than EVR for this past year. Wouldn’t be surprised if top top performers at Guggenheim get more than EVR top bucket In some cases simply because they’re smaller and can be more flexible.

That said, it’s splitting hairs (~60k vs 50k for the stub)

Yes, gugg is generalist for both the summer and the first few months of ft

Work at a diff EB. Gugg TMT no brainer unless you particularly want to be on the west coast. Very good group, particularly in media and telecom space. Big deals and the best group in Gugg to exit from
