Guggenheim vs. Evercore?
Just curious to see what people think about working at these places and the pros and cons.
(I expect many monkey shits to be thrown in the comments)

Not even comparable
fr. zero monkey shits will be thrown, they like 2 tiers apart and just about everyone will say that
Heard the gugg people are nice. That’s probably the only thing going for it tho
Very group dependent…
Evercore...
Not remotely comparable
I thought Evercore is a total sweatshop??? Might as well move to China and get my butthole destroyed. At least they make more than min wage but doesn’t every analyst there want to kill themselves?
You’re a quant and really buy into the “bankers make money wage on hourly basis” thing?
Like most other banks, from what I know, it’s somewhat group dependent. Gugg has been inconsistent historically and hasn’t had a great few years recently. Can’t comment on this unequivocally but is a sweaty group at EVR going to be thaaaat much worse than a sweaty group at Gugg?
Congrats on Guggenheim
Thanks bro
