Had relationship with my VP (what shall I do now)

I was an intern at a BB last summer and got accidentally into relationship with my VP. It was during my third week, and she invited me to dinner, I was Lik wtf, but then we had drink and we had sex. She said she wanna date me but I have a fiancée also, just not in NYC, and I took the return offer to come back this coming fall, what shall I do? Shall I break up or continue this relationship with the VP? It’s a very good BB also

Nah nothing that bad. like i said, at least accept that you are scum and when it is time to face the consequences, don't be a coward and try to blame anyone or pity yourself. i say that because your responses already seem to include self pity with all that "yeah i know i am trash, i can't control myself" garbage. people who want an excuse to be scum usually say that shit. how about you sack up and be a good human being instead of accepting the status quo of you being filth.

Never shit where you eat.

Moronic thing to do, especially as a man in this #metoo era.

If VP turns on you nobody is going to back you, regardless of the truth.

Either way - if you continued with VP, sooner or later she will want more. So you'll be forced to make a choice.

#metoo doesn't apply here, she's much more senior than him. Learn power dynamics.

Never happened tho

Just join the bank and play it easy lol. 2 years will pass quickly.

This is hilarious, but if it's real, you're kinda screwed. Honestly, you may have to break it off with the fiance. If this comes out before the wedding, you're reputation will be destroyed. If it comes out after, your reputation will be destroyed AND you'll be on the hook for so many payments after the divorce court settlement. Also just in general, doesn't sound like you're ready for marriage anyways

No I am, I just cannot control that desire to have sex w a different person

Secret or not, SHE could end up seeing this. You weren't very discrete describing it.

Damn OP if this is real you're a lucky man, I'd love to abuse my VP.

Break up with your fiance, early marriage rarely works and requires specific types of people, you aren't among those.

I think pursuing a long term relationship with a female VP is a mistake (women usually end up looking for opposite power dynamics), but that's up to you.

Stay engaged, let your finance does her wife duties taking care of you. But keep fucking your VP.

Keep your VP as your fuck buddy. Since your VP is a woman, it's inevitable she will catch feels at some point. Given she's your staffer, leverage that to have easier workload and use her to bridge the relationships with MDs.

Remember, this is a downturn market for IB and VPs are very likely to get cut. If your VP is distracted by office romance, her performance will bleed and she will probably get kicked. You're an intern/1st year analyst, you're cheap, you're fine. If your VP performance is still solid, use your official relationship with your fiance to sir up drama in your VP's personal life so that her professional performance will suffer.

Anyway, the mission you're on should be extracting all the values from your VP and then plan her demise. She's old and probably will hit the wall soon so don't even think about any serious relationship with her, recretional use only.

And your fiance, well, if that one doesn't blow up, then fine, keep her around, if not, meh, find another one.
