Harris Williams M&A Bootcamp - Piss off SA firm?

I’m a rising junior and I’ve accepted an offer at a BB for summer 2021. Due to Corona, I want to give myself a safety net by hopefully getting accepted into the HW M&A Bootcamp. I know they give out return offers to a good amount of the people that are accepted into the Bootcamp, but I’m worried that my BB might not like the fact that I’m applying for the camp and potentially getting another offer.

is applying worth the risk of pissing them off? Do I ask before I apply, or just not say anything unless they ask?

Send it but keep your mouth shut about it. If you get an offer from both, decline the one you dont want and just say "thank you but at the moment this is not what I want to do" and do not post on LinkedIn or give any information about where you are accepting the alternative offer.
