Help offer expiring need advice on internal-transfer odds

All,

I was fortunate enough to receive a SA offer from a top-tier BB (JPM, GS, MS) in their Real Estate Investment Group which to my understanding is very highly regarded among the entire firm. If I decide to accept my offer and following the internship I still have aspirations of going IB, how difficult would it be to engage in FT recruitment w/in the same firm. Should I focus on RE coverage groups? Has anyone successfully made this internal-transfer and can speak to their process?

Best,

Most people in real estate IB coverage groups aspire to get into the real estate investment groups at MS / GS. Two of the most prestigious groups to work for as a junior level employee. JPM is also good but I’ve read that it’s more core deals.

With that being said you’ll still probably get IB looks with that experience. Not sure about internal mobility without knowing which firm
