HF now, worried for next summer

Hey guys,
I'm a rising junior and fortunately have an awesome internship at a well-known HF. I'm doing work that is putting me ahead of the game (modeling, etc) and gaining great exposure. However, I'm already worried for next summer. Just looking at my academics, my grades aren't at par to easily get a SA position at a BB next summer. Ideally, I think, it would be great if the guys I'm working for right now invite me back next summer. How do you guys think I should approach this? What should I do until the end of the summer to really impress them and have them invite me back? Feedback would be great thanks

What range in asset value? Have you seen the Alpha mag list? I'm in a similar situation, but they've explicitly stated they don't take ugrads. My grades are actually really good, but I'm worried about my competitiveness with students at sophomore rotational programs which I didn't apply to(because of the connections they will get).

In all honesty, you guys need to chill the fk out. Do you have any idea how FEW people actually get into those soph rotational programs? Also, ask yourselves whether you actually want to do IB vs. HFs, which may offer similar pay for better hours.

Just another I need affirmation post. OP knows exactly what is needed, and any advice that is given will probably not change the course of his life now, but they need something just to feel valued and help sleep at night. Nothing to see. Move along.

A couple of questions - what is your GPA? A HF experience might compensate. Also, what is the Assets under management, and how'd you land it? People at banks will wonder how you ended up with this.

In terms of getting an offer next year, approach your senior official and say that it was a very interesting experience. Ask if they will have a similar internship program next year.

Warning that most hedge funds won't higher you out of ugrad, so that you might end up without a FT offer.

rising junior is someone who is about to enter junior year after summer. Assets under mgmt are about 7 bil. i got the job through a connection. the only thing i got through the connection was the interview. It wasn't a sure thing until i actually got a yes from them.
