How are bonuses determined on an individual level, especially in boutique banks
I understand that a large portion of the bonus pool is determined off firm performance, but how is the individual performance metric determined? Revenue generation is a huge one that I know, but are there any other metrics that are assessed? Such as teamwork, strategy execution, etc. Just curious if anything is looked at beyond revenue generation when determining individual bonuses. Curious especially about the boutique banks, but big banks would be good too.
