How Bad is UBS IB NY

Have full time offer here and just trying to figure out if I should accept. Have heard very mixed things.

What is bonus for analysts? What are the chances I get cut? How are hours dependent by group?

bonuses not that great.  they arent TERRIBLE like the worst bank or anything, but they have never been that great and frankly, in some years outright offensive.

despite the lower bonuses, some groups can GRIND.  depends on what you staffed are on.  I know several analysts who are doing 100 hour weeks regularly and got like a 20k bonus last year lol

The CS/UBS merger has created some cutthroat culture.  Layoffs are happening all the time (not a huge event, but like 2-3 people in the group every 2 months, which actually is worse for morale).

Its sort of a "I settled for UBS" type environment here.

You will not work on major public M&A deals.

some groups are outright no-go zones.  What group is your offer for?
