As the title suggests, I've got a 2 month placement in a Big 4 transaction services role. I've read the generic blurb on the website and perused the forums here, and I've ascertained its mainly financial due diligence primarily on M&A transactions.
How can I best prepare for this role? Should I brush up on my basic accounting? Should I know macros in Excel? Just a tad confused because I want to do really well in this role to get a FT offer. Thanks!
