How do I not seem like an idiot in asking questions?

Title.

I had to send compliance 50 back-to-back emails with questions on what fell under a specific FINRA requirement in transfering my brokerage account over. I know I am not a lawyer, but god damn this should not be that complicated if I can just read properly lol. Anyone else have a similar problem & suggesitons?
