dude, i would take it in a heartbeat. r u kidding me?!?!

you should take a look at how many people actually make it to the post mba spots and they get comp less than that at most shops

It was never about salary for me. Yes, I love money and it's one of the main drivers for me. But I want my career to be a lot more than just a source of income- I want it to correlate with my personal philosophy.

I would never take that offer, given that I don't even know what I'll be doing & it's for the rest of my career... The only reason I'm pursuing a career in investment banking right now is because of the opportunities it provides.

strallwheat and obviously the job is finance-related, not sucking cocks for 50hours a week like some of you had hoped

Lol.. Yeah ya'll are sissies, me n my buddy Fuld wouldn't even bother getting out of bed 3 day's in a row for that crappy sum.

Besides this is a banking forum right... What's the present value of 350k 40 years in the future? At 10% once yearly it's about 7 and a half grand in today's terms.. In fact it would probably be the greatest deal in history for every corporation in the world's interest to 'lock you in' for that salary for the rest of your life.

I have no problem saying that I would not take this.

If it's a job I'm at least somewhat interested in, hell yea. I'm assuming that it'd be adjusted for inflation, too
