How much do heads of BB IBs make?
Hi all, Ive been fortunate to interact with global heads of Lev Fin, TMT, GIG, and HC and the biggest banks. I am just curious what these guys make? How hard is it to get to this level?

Its not hard at all just gotta make sure you know a good story for a time you worked on a team
lmfao this is so true
Not op, but I was just wondering, is the CEO the highest paid person at a bank?
no
Explain this logic to me?

In Hong Kong, first tier international banks. $3-5M should be standard. Cash should be $1M+. Mostly seeing them copied in email chains, and only write "OK". Seems massively over-paid in most cases.
Hm not bad. I guess ill just become a head of IB then
They're sourcing deals through the hundreds of people they've met in their 10+ years of grinding.
Unfortunately sourcing really means playing golf for 20 hours every week at the country club, but yeah, they're still very valuable
what about group heads in HK
Source?
If that’s all you think they do your crazy. They’re recruiting talent to the group, have extremely strong industry relationships and are driving huge fees, and organizing the entire group to be successful. Go look the deals global head of healthcare at JPM does in deals as an example and tell me again he’s underpaid.
Mollitia quibusdam fuga sit sit in. Et repellat veniam quaerat sed in quam.
