how much time do you spent reading the PAPERS?
I'm trying to get a summer internship in ib so I'm reading up on the WSJ, NY Times, Economist etc. But I've also got class and tons of homework so my time is really tight.
I find that if i want to read the wsj and nyt daily + a magazine like the economist or business weekly, i'd have to spend 2-3 hours a day just reading these papers. That's alot!
How much do you guys spend reading this stuff? Is the time spent worth it? Thanks in advance
I'm in a similar position as you. I just skim most of the WSJ headlines and read the investing section or any other articles that focus more on ibanking or major deals.
I read various websites/WSJ for 30 minutes and then watch CNBC (yeah you can laugh if you want) for about the same time. So far this method has been providing me with a great deal of information.
