How often do IB analysts shop at the grocery?

Hi everyone, I am considering the Capital One Savor One vs the WF Signature. The main benefit of the Savor One over the signature is that it includes groceries and entertainment, while the Signature has travel, gas, and transit. So my question is how often do IB analyst go the grocery and make their own food, or do IB analysts primarily use their meal stipends for food?

Somewhat rarely - you will be at the office past 8pm every night, so maybe 2-3 days a week (weekends) you make your own food. Most banks only give enough for dinner so you're either buying your own lunch or meal prepping (hard to do with IB hours)

I would also prioritize a points card over cash back... it's way better to be building points to use in the future instead of just getting a tiny amount of cash back. It's also okay to spend some money on a CC, there are plenty of really good $95 ones and they often pay for themselves with points and benefits. Don't drive yourself insane on the categories, it's not that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things - but your 30 year old self will appreciate being able to use the hard-earned points
