How to approach group specific Superday

Hey monkeys. Because of my background I have two Superdays coming up where I'm interviewing for a specific coverage groups. These are both at top BBs. Should I prepare for these interviews just like I would a general/normal superday, or should I tailor it to the specific group function?

Speaking from experience, I would prepare more so for group specific questions. I got burned by this once at a superday. Had a background in this area from an internship. Wasn't told that I was interviewing for that specific group (thought it was a bunch of different groups). Then got peppered by 3 people in that group on a number of technical questions about that, despite having prepared for other types of general groups. Needless to say, it didn't go as well as I would have liked.

Yeah - I did a bunch of group specific interviews. "Why this industry" "Name some of the largest players in this industry" "Some news about this industry - Oh, ok, explain why they did that" "What are some ratios used in this industry" kind of stuff goes a long way if you can answer them.

And - reach out to a few people in the group.... for the third question, you can then say something like, "Well, I heard from John Smith that you guys were on the Something deal. That was interesting because this, this, this."
