How to ask when to come in and leave during internship?

Hey I am wondering what's the right way to ask about hours for the internship.

I don't want to come off as lazy and frame it as "when can i come and leave?"

I'm fine working whatever hours because that's what I signed up for, but I'd like clarification on when I should come in everyday, if I come in on weekends, and what's the procedure for leaving?

Does anyone know any good way to ask our manager? Particularly about leaving - is there a way to ask about when to leave on average or if there's a routine to go through before leaving?

Since it's so early in the summer, I am assuming that you haven't started your internship yet. HR will usually tell you on your first day what the normal protocol is for the whole summer. They will at least tell you what time they expect you to be in the office. As for leaving, that depends on what the other senior people do. You don't want to leave before your manager.

 

If I'm being paid hourly + OT, would it be best to ask our manager something like 'what's the protocol on leaving' or would that sound like we just want to leave asap? What's a good way to phrase or ask the question?
