bump. would appreciate analyst/associate insight here. i'm pulling from CapitalIQ Estimates > Consensus, but I'm unsure if this is what my boss wants. Thx
We use FactSet but generally median consensus is used. You can tweak some things, such as excluding estimates older than e.g. 100 days etc.
Depending on the exercise, you can sometimes use House view. I.e. your banks research estimates.
