I have an interview with one of the Willaim Blair's oversea office, and the feeling is quite good. Learned from google that William Blair is good at portfolio management and healthcare industry. Somebody told me that work and life balance is quite good.
The interviewer even promised a one-month training in Chicago if on board.

Interested as well. I know they compete with RWB and Lincoln. They are all midwest firms. Is your interview for SA or FT?
My interview for IBD analyst in an office in Asia, I have 4 years working experiences in Big4's audit and M&A transaction service. So I am kind of in a dilemma. If get the offer, that means starts right over from analyst again. But staying in Big4, i could get promoted to manager next year. I like WB's long-term plan with people, that's why i am puzzled.
Have you gone to B-school yet? If not, 4 years of Big 4 should land you at a decent MBA program (depending transactions and on other factors of course) and you then have more options coming in as an associate.
I am planning a 2011/2012 autumn B-school, but if i get the offer of an analyst in WB, it'll take 2-3 years to promote to an associate, which will ruin my B-school plan. However, i like the company's people first culture, and that's why many people worked for WB for more than 5 years, not changing ships every 2,3 years. Plus, the Asian office is expanding fast, being the first to come means a good foundation in future development.
But staying in Big4, i will be a manager next year, changing from doer to reviewer, a lot more relaxing job.
Still puzzled....
It's an ok bank, lots of people outside of the industry break into banking there and similarly a lot lateral out.
