IB internship as a junior transfer.

Hey everyone, I've had a reality check recently, and now I'm feeling a bit lost about what to do next. I received emails regarding IB summer internship applications, and I was surprised to learn how early the application process started. For some context -  I'm transferring as a junior from a CC to a Low Semi-Target school this fall, where I'll be pursuing a B.S. in Econ and a Minor in Finance. I had good grades in CC and took many relevant courses, but I doubt that has any value. However, my main concern is how I can secure an internship for my Junior year summer in my current situation. Is IB still a possibility for me?
