IB Intership After Graduation
Hi all,
Wanted to get some feedback on how to go about getting an internship in IB one year out of college? I have a year of experience in real estate but have come to the realization that my current experience will not allow me to lateral into IB directly, probably not even REIB groups as I'm working at the asset level. Therefore, I think my best option is to pursue an internship at a boutique to gain some direct IB experience (My finances allow me to do so). I have internships in equity research and accounting and just took CFA Level II this past month.
Is this smart? And what would be the best way to go about this?
Thank you
Summer internship positions go to those who are still in school. You can try to apply for FT positions or go get your MBA and break in as an associate.
