Rankings are stupid but CVP belongs in S tier undoubtedly. Will be #1 or #2 in global M&A league tables for 2023 YTD after today as a 400 person firm.
Agree for the most part but would bring down CS by one tier and bring up Jefferies. Would also consider dropping Greenhill a tier, they just aren’t the same anymore.
Would move CVP and PJT RSSG to the top of S tier and leave PJT M&A in A+ tier.
Feel like HL RX should also move up in that case
congrats on moelis
e: oops, looks like I pissed off some angry incoming moelis SAs lol
Did you confirm this with WITG SSG?
Roths?
I would put Roths as B+ or B
A+ in Europe, B in NA.
Roths not EB so B tier maybe B-
Greenhill should be B tier
Move down Qatalyst to A tier
CVP must be S tier
Sorry you didn’t get an offer at Qatalyst
Qatalyst A Tier? My brother in Christ, their senior associates make $1 million.
source?
Greenhill way too high. Jefferies and HL both better and would even put Blair/Baird above them
How does this get MS? Literally go on the websites of those 5 banks and look at the transaction sizes. GHL is in no way 2+ “tiers” above Blair/Baird and 1 “tier” above Jefferies/HL. But agree this is such a stupid topic lmao.
Feels like greekrank
This is something 12 year old girls do at sleepovers except for 20 year old males
Where would you rank Evercore Secondary Advisory (PCA)?
Where would Macquarie Capital go on this list, or are they not competitive in U.S. M&A advisory?
They are not really comparable to these firms.
Irrelevant in US M&A
no one gives a fuck about MacCap outside of australia and infrastructure circles
