Include analyst class ranking/review on resume when looking to jump banks?

If one was looking to move to another bank after their first year, would it look stupid to put your review/ranking on the resume?

I.e. if you have been ranked in the top bucket across all categories, would it be worth your time to put it as a bullet? It is something that will come up in the interview anyway...

ginNtonic References can say whether you're in the top, middle, or bottom buckets though

How is it possible? Your references might be people whom you worked with previously, in the past, but not currently. it is not a wise move to use a current employee in your company as your reference: very often, when seeking for another job, one doesn't want his employer to know about it.

Technically you could list it on your resume, but I don't think it is necessary, and I think you are better off focusing on your experiences and accomplishments. If, however, you've got the room on your resume and how many analysts got top bucket and it was only like 4 or 5 out of a class of 80 or something, then you can list it on your resume in that regard. I don't think it's necessary, but if there is nothing else that you want to put on your resume and you've got space, I don't think it will hurt at all either.
