Interested in an IB position
Hello, Yes I am interested in trading stocks (like on NBC). I have read a few forums about this subject in investment banking and I think it looks like a great job! Although it looks like a tough business I think the money involvement makes up for it not being fun.
The reason I want to do "IB" is because my current job (I believe) I am over qualified for because I recently graduated from Devry University-Pomona with a 3.3 GPA, on top of that I have an A.A. in Fine Arts from a community college (although that gpa was lower). The worse part is that I could only get a job as a manager for a retailing venue.
How do I apply to these investment banks and hire?
This would be funny if it wasn't so overdone.

50,000 dollars is definately more than I make in this current position, so it could possibly be better for me if I take a position. I feel as though some people think it is ok to be sarcastic, but I still am optimistic.
try joining all the groups named "investment bank" from Facebook.
I got over 25 messages asking me to come in for interviews just a couple of days after joining those groups.
There is not a test at www.gs.com for a career. This may help others so that they dont have to check. For this position is it in Ca? Because it is where I am currently a resident and on top of that I like it there!
