Interview help - valuation case

Hi everyone,

I’m preparing for a valuation case interview for an analyst role at a small boutique. The task is to value a private insurance company. The interviewer suggested using a residual income model for valuation. I have done multiple DCF models but haven’t built an residual income model before. I’m looking for any resources, templates, or advice on how to structure the model, especially for the insurance industry. Any tips on key assumptions or industry-specific considerations would be greatly appreciated.
