Investment Banking Intern - summer 2015

I recently accepted a six month co-op/internship with Credit Suisse Holt Equities in NYC. Holt is in the Investment Banking division, but is this considered an "investment banking analyst" job? The description sounds like it, however, everyone is asking me what sector, and I was told I would be working across many sectors. Also, the compensation was not the "85,000 prorated" like everyone on here has said, it is based on the old analyst salary, and my offer letter stated "time and 1/2 overtime", unlike the "1/2" overtime that others on here have said. Is this the same as IB SA?

If in any doubt, you should check-in with your recruiter. It may be an IB SA position but you should ask what you are actually doing (i.e. equity sales/securities using the Holt framework?, etc.), could be S&T too. Not sure about the salary and co-op policies though.

For the lead! Sipag, tiyaga, at lakas ng loob!
