Investment Banking or Business School
Hi,
Hoping to share my situation and get feedback. I graduated in 2014 and have been working in Project Managed for Financial Services firms for 5 year. I have never been in a Financial Valuation or Trading Role but would like to break into Investment Banking. I've taken a crash course in Financial Modeling and am familiar with the material.
Should I make the push into IB, or go down the Business School path?
Thanks!
If you can get into a target MBA program then that'll probably be the most straightforward route. Assuming you haven't done your GMAT, your best bet will probably be to apply next year for a 2021 start. Given that, it wouldn't hurt to try recruiting for banking roles in the interim as well. If it works out, great. If not, you can go to school.
