Is Anyone Hiring?

I've been at a no-name LMM boutique IB for about 18 months now, and have finally garnered enough deal XP to feel comfortable in interviews. I've taken all of the WSO, Financial Edge, and WSP modeling courses (Three-Statement, Precedents, Comps, M&A, LBO, DCF) to mitigate the lack of modeling at my current job. I've recently interviewed for two gigs in RX, passed both of their three-statement case studies, and just finished up their version of a superday. However, even though the work in RX is mentally stimulating and tiers ahead of what I do now (in terms of exit opps), I've been told that it still pigeon-holes you into only doing that type of work. The person who told me this (the only connection I have in high finance) isn't hiring at his firm (EB) and said it's similar across the board for M&A shops. Therefore, while I want to leave my shop, I don't want to be jumping ship-to-ship just for the sake of leaving. On the flipside, If I stay at my shop too long, I'm worried my exit opps will dwindle over time. If there are any senior bankers on this forum, can you at least point me in the right direction? I've reached out to alums from my school, but I just get left on read.... Anyone have any ideas? Genuinely thinking of just trying my hand at B-School at this point before I get stuck in LMM IB.

Not to hijack your thread, but I'm *also* recruiting for RX consulting. Industry folks have told me that the market is active but I haven't seen any *non-Big 3 RX consulting* job postings recently Any recs on who is hiring?
