Is GS FIG worth the pay cut
I'm a sophomore about to be a SA in GS FIG for summer 2024. I'm coming from a target school and decided not to re recruit because I'm super excited about the offer and hope to do my soph and junior summers there + analyst years at least. However, as friends recruit for junior summer I'm starting to feel self conscious about GS's pay and worried that I should've gone elsewhere. Thoughts? Any insight on pay and bonuses? Will it all work out?

The fact that people are posting these types of concerns really goes to show how far GS is beginning to fall under the helm of their DJ CEO. GS FIG is a top top group and 10 years ago folks wouldn't even think twice about this type of offer.
Would do a summer or two, then go straight to the buyside
