Is Relationship Hire Normal?

I work in a BB at midtown west. Heard one of intern is daughter of a MD in sales & trading of our firm. She get in because of her father. However, she may work in UK instead of US because his father located in New York. Is that normal?

"jsdkfjsadkfj" Yup, just look at the lack of diversity of analyst classes. Rich, white kids all from New York City, Long Island, Connecticut, etc.

Women and minorities even have their own special, exclusive programs at BBs for internships, but yeah there’s a giant conspiracy to only hire white people. Also, defining “diversity” as something that is to be measured by skin color...lmao. The only kind of diversity that matters is diversity of thought.

It's called nepotism, has been around since the dawn of homo sapiens, and is as (if not more) natural than greed, fear, jealousy, lust, murder, and rape.
