despite the bonus, can an IT guy make say 150 in a yr?
2007 IT analyst: 60K base + 10k sign on. (Citi) 62K base + 8k sign on (Lehman) End of year bonus is usually btw 2k - 5k Heard through the grapevine that Goldman pays abt 10 gees more than above. Not too sure though.
150K in BB IT is very possible...after about 10yrs in the industry that is.
Hedge funds pay their IT guys much better. Start them at 6 figures straight outta college.
What's the difference between IT guys at banks/hedge funds/PEGs and regular IT guys at regular corporations? Is there any difference in work?
