Jefferies Off-Cycle (April Start) London 2026

Hey guys. I know there were 2 different opportunities for the Off-Cycle April start (1) Energy team (2) Various Groups.

Energy internship is 3-months long, but the Various Groups OC doesn't mention how long it'll be. Guessing it'll either be 3 or 6 months? Anyone have any idea? Anyone know what the interview process will be like?

Cheers

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't specific information available about the exact duration of the "Various Groups" Off-Cycle internship at Jefferies for an April start in London. However, it's common for off-cycle internships in London to last either 3 or 6 months, depending on the team's needs and the firm's structure.

Regarding the interview process, Jefferies interviews are generally known to be more technical than those at bulge bracket (BB) banks but less challenging than elite boutique (EB) banks. If you're applying to a regional group, the process might be more rigorous. It's advisable to prepare thoroughly for technical questions, as well as behavioral and fit-based questions, to ensure you're well-rounded for the interview.

If you need further insights, consider reaching out to current or former interns at Jefferies through LinkedIn or networking events to get firsthand advice.

I saw those opportunities, but I applied to the "various group" position about a month and a half ago. From what I’ve been told, off-cycles can stretch up to six months depending on deal flow, so I’m assuming that may be the case here as well.

That said, I wanted to check whether you’ve received any updates on your application. I completed the OA for that position last month but haven’t heard back from the team yet. As I understand it, the process is OA → first-round interview → second-round interview.

Thanks in advance, and let me know if you’ve heard anything.

Oh congratulations on that. Its a great feat already. Best of luck for the next stage. I was wondering if you completed the OA.. or if you got any kind of response completing it ?

Anyone heard back from the FIG team?

Not yet

Idk if they're going for Europeans though

What's your background if you don't mind me asking

Has anyone here applied to the Jefferies Off-Cycle internship starting in September 2026 across various groups?

I wanted to check whether anyone has heard back yet, what stage the process is currently at, and whether anyone has already completed the OA. I applied over a month ago and still have not received it, so I was wondering whether that is the case for others as well.

Thanks.

Has anyone gotten feedback after the OA?

Nope still waiting on feedback.
How exactly does the process work do all teams have a look at results + CV to see if they’d like to interview??

from my understanding, it is being released for those who applied to energy, not various groups. Could be wrong tho.
