Jefferies vs Citi IB SA 2021

So Ive been "networking" with two of my dads close friends the past few weeks who are both heads of specific divisions at both Citi and Jefferies. Obviously, have to go through the application and interview process as any other candidate, but in the case that I manage to receive an offer, I was wondering which is better in terms of: -Full time conversion rate -"Working" hours
This is early wow assuming you will have these offers locked down, Citi easily.

Why? Jefferies is significantly stronger in many verticals and will save OP from having to do a lot of back and forth between different product groups (DCM on M&A transactions) while allowing the opportunity to work in leaner teams. That correct answer depends on OP’s ability to leverage both offers (if/when he gets them) into group specific offers. Then we can accurately compare.
Get both offers first

My advice to all my friends who have gone through this is not to decide on hypotheticals, it’s more likely you’ll walk away without either offer rather than assuming you have both already, so why decide against one now?
Yes, Im aware of the fact that there a high probability I might not get any. I was just casually wondering which is preferred by the community.

Thanks, but isn't Citi known for having a pretty low (less than 60%) return rate? Also, I heard that Jefferies has a "reserved" FT position for every SA, but it 100% comes down to your performance whether you receive a return offer or not. Can anyone confirm this?? Thanks
Lol this is far from accurate - Citi’s SA - FT offer rate has been around 90% across the entire front office the last few years
You have it backwards, Citi has a guaranteed spot for every SA and advertises that, and their return is north of 90%. Jefferies is a known sweatshop
both are sweatshops in certain groups. but yeah, might as well go for the overall stronger bank and brand name which is citi
