JP Morgan Application “under Review” for 20 days
Basically title. Applied for a full time IG DCM analyst role and it’s been under review this entire team. Can anyone provide guidance on what next steps I can take? I am a lateral but coming in from coverage. Not sure who I can reach out to?
Thanks all
Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's not uncommon for applications to remain "Under Consideration" for several weeks. Here are some steps you can take while you wait:
Patience is Key: The hiring process can often take time, especially for large firms like J.P. Morgan. It's important to be patient while your application is under review.
Networking: Continue to network within the industry. If you have contacts at J.P. Morgan or can get introduced to someone there, it might be helpful to get insider information on the process.
Follow-Up: If it's been a significant amount of time, it's generally acceptable to send a polite follow-up email to HR or the recruiter inquiring about the status of your application. However, make sure not to do this too frequently as it may be seen as pushy.
Prepare for the Next Steps: While waiting, prepare for potential interviews by reviewing common interview questions and ensuring you can articulate your experience and how it relates to the role you've applied for.
Keep Applying: Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Continue to apply for other roles that interest you.
Remember, each application process is unique and can vary by location and division. If you've already done a first round or HireVue interview, the timeline for a response could be anywhere from 2-3 weeks based on historical data from the WSO forums. If you haven't heard back after a month, it might be worth reaching out.

Bump. Same situation. Does that mean we are getting rejected or more of a function of slow moving hiring processes?
Work at jpm. Mine was under review for like 2 months before I randomly got the interview. Others in my class at school were the same, then got rejected. So could be good or bad, wouldn't read into it.
