Career Resources
Work closely with the team. Anything in particular you would like to know?
The team is pretty small and sits within Corporate Finance Advisory (in CIB) and get paid the same at the junior level as bankers. Everyone on the team is nice but they work long hours because the team is still new. Great senior exposure across the firm. They have been trying to hire more analysts but they are very selective about who they take. If you’re interested in ESG and climate change it’s a fantastic group to be in.
What exactly does the team do? General advisory for decarbonisation?
Just got invited for an interview, any more insights you could share on what to expect since this division seems to be more consulting based?
They suck - go coverage group in this market this team doesn’t generate any revenue
What was the interview like? Was it super technical and if so, what was it focused on
Can you talk about what kind of transactions they work on? Was invited to interview in the past but the team was so new that there was just no info out there on them
Weird dudes - mostly Indian men for whatever reason.
better exits from power & renewables team - this group isn’t very quantitative
Interned at jp at different group idk but there’s a lot of Indians at every group and being Indian myself that’s weird can someone
Explain why
What function does it serve exactly? Does it cover multiple products (i.e. M&A, equity/debt raising, etc.) or is it moreso a vanilla corporate advisory floor
Curious about this group as well. Do they do any M&A or more qualitative work?
