JPM 2024 SA Timeline
Just got an email from JPM saying applications are under review already. Has JPM always recruited ahead of other firms? Any idea when superdays will be?

Hirevues have been out but no word on further review
I submitted my hirevue but never had an email saying what OP posted.
can you say the hirevue questions you got?
Can’t remember exactly but it was one behavioral, one accounting, and one about synergies.
my hirevue was one behavioral and 2 technical. Technical questions were very easy, standard valuation questions like what are the 3 main valuation techniques, and enterprise value and terminal value.
Do you know how long we have to complete the Hirevue? Is there a set time like 48 hours or just by whenever you can
The job posting I applied to is some reason different from the one on their web page? Like I got sent an email about applying and clicked the link but it takes me to a page that was posted 1/12 instead of the job posted on 1/2. anyone know why this might be
Involved in the recruiting process for S&T and can confirm hirevues are out and being reviewed. Superdays will start on a rolling basis next month and go through the summer.
May I ask you if that means no further applications are accepted?
Rolling basis
How important is networking before applying for JPM? Have heard that they haven't considered referrals for the past few cycles but not too sure how true that is.
Bump
Applications are still being accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
Networking and referrals are a critically important part of the process. All referrals are vetted by HR. Obviously some referrals carry more weight than others so keep in mind that it really depends on the rank of the person referring you. Generally VPs and above will get you a solid look and often advance you to the next step in the process. For S&T an analyst or associate in trading will say have more weight than the same title in research.
Thought networking wasn't a factor at JPM?
Thank you! Also heard that networking wasn't considered as highly (unless MD and above), is that not true anymore? Do you also by any chance know around what time super days will be this year
Have heard from analyst that referrals and networking don't hold much weight at JPM
Interesting, is this specific to S&T as I was told IBD is not weighting referrals or internal resume pushes much if at all.
Superdays started this week. Can't speak for IBD but S&T referrals are all taken into consideration
Do you know when the next wave will be for people that just submitted their applications
