Juniors Taking Over the Company G6
I love traveling, but based on others' experiences, traveling in consulting probably isn't what I'm looking for. Are there any IBs that have opportunities every now and then for their junior bankers to travel? I believe that ER has some travel opportunities, but I'm looking more in the banking (whether that's M&A, DCM, LevFin).
I'm just searching for the best of both worlds.
gangstabanka, sorry about the lack of response. Maybe one of these topics will help:
No promises, but thought I'd mention a few relevant users that work in the industry: ctrl-alt-del brazil Sandhurst
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
It's rare for a first year to travel in my firm (MM industry group), but second years do.
If you're choosing a job solely based on travel opportunities, then you won't last long. I'd doubt that you would even pass the interview process. Pursue something that you can see yourself doing for a long period of time and if you are able to travel, that's a bonus.
