Kicked out of ER, went to IB, but the job sucks. Reflecting on what to do next

First post here. I a have biotech background + business major and worked for 2 years in the biopharma industry before switching to a healthcare boutique in Paris as a biotech ER analyst, where I was let go in 2022 due to low ECM activity in the sector. Since then, I’ve struggled and took a job at a biotech incubator for a year, but I eventually quit because I felt I wasn’t adding value, plus the pay was low. A month ago, I accepted an analyst position at a small healthcare boutique (IB) (6 full-time staff, including 2 Partners and 4 juniors) in Paris, mostly because I was eager to get back into finance given the tough job market. However, I quickly realized there’s little opportunity for growth in this company. I’m starting to regret the decision but want to stay a bit longer to position myself for a move into VC or corporate development in Europe. Any advice? Much appreciated.
