Land FT with internship experience - just not in IB
I'm a rising senior right now looking into positions in IB/Equity Research for next year. Although I interviewed for some IB internships last year, I only landed an FP&A job at a pharmaceutical company for the summer. I have 3 summers worth of internship experience in financial analysis/commercial lending, but not IB. Do you have any advice on how to leverage my financial experience for a FT position this coming year? How should I go about explaining my lack of IB experience? Thanks.
