Lazard NYC Healthcare

Have read various pieces here about how sweaty Lazard's NYC Healthcare group is, but nothing too detailed. Anyone have insight, hopefully more recent, into the group's culture (e.g. comradery, treatment of junior bankers, ability to progress as a career banker) and work-life (e.g. hours, Saturday/Sunday work levels, adoption of and respect for recent WLB initiatives, vacations, etc.)? Will be coming in as an associate, if that helps.

Have worked across from them. Can't speak to wlb, but very well-respected. They do a lot of quality deals, and I grew to really like some of the ppl on their team. One of the VPs (think he got promoted to Director now) consistently went above and beyond and was just a great dude to work with. Congrats on the offer.

Thanks for not answering his question fuckface.

They literally asked about culture, and I said the group had a seemingly cohesive team with great people across the board, including one that was one of the best people I’ve worked across from ever (not just work-product-wise, but also just in terms of being nice, thoughtful, helpful, etc.). Think that’s better than nothing, given that there were no other replies, and I prefaced that I couldn’t directly speak to other elements of their question. Thanks for the comment, asshole
