LBOs in M&A?
Hi,
I’m in preparation for an internship in M&A. For that I’m reading Rosenbaum/Pearl which I can only recommend so far. However, I was wondering if it would be advisable to initially skip the chapters on LBOs and rather study Trading-/Transaction Comps, DCF, as well as Buy- and Sell-Side M&A.
Would you recommend being familiar with LBOs when it comes to M&A?
Just do all of it? the classic valuation stuff is easy (like a week needed) and maybe give M&A and LBO's the same amount of time.
Not a huge time investment
