Left lane associates ghosted me after case
I worked on a case for them, worked really hard on it and they didn’t respond to me. I had to follow up to get a rejection after I worked so hard on their case.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights and advice regarding being ghosted after putting in significant effort on a case:
Professional Courtesy: It's frustrating and unprofessional when firms don't respond after you've invested time and effort. This lack of professional courtesy is a common grievance in the industry. As seen in the "Ghosted after 7 interviews at Morgan Stanley" thread, many users share similar experiences and emphasize the need for better communication from firms.
Follow-Up: While it's disheartening to have to follow up for a rejection, it's important to maintain professionalism. Politely following up, as you did, is the right approach. It shows persistence and a professional attitude, which can be beneficial in the long run.
Learning Experience: Use this experience as a learning opportunity. Reflect on the case and the feedback (if any) you received. This can help you improve and prepare better for future opportunities.
Networking: Continue to build and maintain your network. Sometimes, the connections you make can lead to better opportunities. As mentioned in the "Ghosted? You will have the last laugh..." thread, maintaining industry relationships can sometimes lead to unexpected job offers down the line.
Resilience: The job search process can be tough, and being ghosted is unfortunately a part of it. Stay resilient and keep applying. Your hard work and persistence will eventually pay off.

Yeah that "firm" is dogshit.
I think they use prospective candidates to do menial research work for them through these cases.
I'm not trying to be a douche because I'm sure they do great deals, but why tf does their HQ office look like it's some type of action sports / indoor skydiving facility lol?
Because the firm is a joke. It's a business brokerage for trucking companies. There's some other treads on Left Lane Ass, it's pretty sad.
Didn’t you guys buy a transportation company from left lane? I’m assuming you’re at novacap
They did you a favor. It is not a real investment bank, they are a specialized business broker
