Leveraging Lower BB Offer to get Interviews

Has anybody succeeded in doing this? Have an offer at lower BB (UBS/Deutsche/WF/RBC) and wanted to know how and if I should leverage this with other banks to get interviews. It's still early in the SA recruiting process but wanted to speed things up.

I go to a target and have a 3.9+. Only have one interview on the schedule with a tip top firm.

At the very least, I'd suggest mentioning it in other interviews when the inevitable "and where else are you interviewing?" question arises. If you aren't too forceful, you can mention you already have an offer somewhere else.

Additionally, if you've been networking with bankers at other banks, this is a perfect opportunity to re-reach out and - maybe - subtly mention you have an offer with another firm but would rather work for their firm.

To answer your question directly: yes, it has absolutely been done, and it will work if the situation is right.

Maximum effort.

Does your school offer you protection from exploding deadlines? If so, you don't need to be too agressive... like @Pesc a said you can subtly use it as networking fodder. If you are dealing with a time table to decide (ie 2 weeks) you should definetly try and push through with the leverage of the offer to get accelerated interviews at places you'd rather work. No harm in being agressive if you are on a time table.
